Addiction is a treatable disease.
The Diamond Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) allows patients to continue working and living at home while receiving treatment and acquiring the tools needed to restore health and enter recovery. Diamond is proud to make effective drug and alcohol treatment accessible in the communities it serves.
HIGH-QUALITY OUTPATIENT CARE
Location update: As Diamond IOPs have officially moved completely to telehealth, we are now able to accept referrals for ANY and ALL Virginia patients. Patients will be enrolled into IOP based on census and therapeutic appropriateness.
Diamond Healthcare Intensive Outpatient Programs remain open for you and your patients during this stressful time.
Addiction is a disease and is treatable. It is not a moral failing and there are medical and clinical professionals who are trained to provide treatment to address the physical and emotional issues associated with substance use disorder so you may live a happier and healthier life. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to write us anytime.
Intensive Outpatient Programs like Diamond IOPs allow people in recovery to meet their life’s daily obligations while getting their addiction under control. Therapy sessions take place at one of our facilities several times a week with a variety of therapies designed to stabilize the patient’s recovery.
Diamond addresses each patient individually to make addiction treatment as affordable as possible. Our staff works with the family to explain costs for treatment and to navigate insurance coverage. The Diamond staff is highly knowledgeable about insurance plans and offers strong patient advocacy. We work with third-party payers to complete all pre-authorizations and necessary case reviews.
At our Diamond IOPs, we offer a Family Night session every Tuesday as part of the six-week curriculum. Any adult member of the patient’s support group is invited to participate. Friends, sponsors, and family members may come to as many Tuesday sessions as they like.
Intensive outpatient services give patients the flexibility to maintain their schedule and household responsibilities while stabilizing their recovery from addiction.
“Whether it is your first time in treatment, a step-down from a residential 30-day program, or reinforcement after a relapse, these IOP programs will provide the support and tools necessary for a lifelong recovery.”
